Smile Studio is a world-class dental practice located on the 3rd Floor of Yaya Centre, Argwings Kodhek Road, Nairobi.
At Smile Studio, we offer a full range of dental services including restorative, preventive, minor surgical procedures, orthodontics, cosmetics and implants.
For a smile to be attractive, confident and lasting, the health of the teeth, gums and, freshness of breath are very important. At Smile Studio we focus on your dental health to ensure that your smile will not only look good now, but for many years to come.
Everyone's ideal smile is different. At Smile Studio we use interactive computer imaging to design and simulate your chosen ideal smile, giving you a preview of the outcome of your treatment before we begin. This ensures that the smile you leave our clinic with is not only an attractive and healthy smile, but the one that suits you best.
We strive to offer all treatments under one roof and collaborate with specialists to provide a wide range of treatments in our practice. This ensures that our patients are not inconvenienced by having to visit a number of different dental care institutions in order to receive full treatment.
MEET THE TEAM
Our highly skilled team of dentists are dedicated to keeping up to date with new developments in their fields of interest and practice. Both Dr. Mutai and Dr. Odera attend numerous training’s and workshops both locally and internationally on a yearly basis. In addition we proactively seek opportunities for our dental assistants, receptionist and business development manager to grow and learn, in order to ensure that our entire team is up to date with new developments in their field of practice.
Dr. Elvis Mutai, B.D.S.
Dr. Mutai received his dental degree from Nairobi University (2010). Subsequently, he worked with the Government of Kenya as a Dental Officer, before returning to Nairobi to venture into private practice as an associate dentist. In 2015 he teamed up with Dr. Odera to open Smile Studio 2015.
Dr. Mutai has over 9 years of practice experience as a general practitioner, his passion for orthodontics has led him to pursue a residency in Full Face Orthodontics.
Dr. Mutai also has a passion for endodontics (root canal treatment) and has spoken and lectured on the topic of rotary endodontics at local professional workshops. He is an opinion leader for FKG (A Swiss manufacturer of root canal instruments)
He is a member of the Kenya Dental Association.
Away from the office Elvis is an avid reader, enjoys traveling and off-road biking.
Dr. Paul Odera, B.D.S. Cert. Implantology
Dr. Odera has been practicing as a general dentist for 10 years following his graduation from the University of Nairobi (2009). Dr. Odera worked at with the Government both in Nairobi and Kiambu before venturing into full-time private practice as an associate dentist. In 2015 he teamed up with Dr. Mutai to open Smile Studio.
Dr. Odera has received advanced training in Implantology and Aesthetics from experts in the field at the renowned Implant and Aesthetics Academy in Cape Town, South Africa. In 2017 he completed his postgraduate Certificate in Implantology accredited by Stony Brook University(NewYork). He has a MSc. Implantology and Dental Surgery from the International Medical College/University of Duisburg-Essen(Germany)
Dr. Odera is committed to evolving and perfecting his techniques and regularly attends national and international courses to enhance his ability to provide the best oral care. Dr Odera is a member of the Kenya Dental Association, International Team for Implantology and Digital Dental Society.
In his spare time, Dr.Odera loves to read, cycle and spend time with his family.
